Bondi Massacre: Light Must Overcome Darkness & Hate
As the church prepares to celebrate Christ's birth and Jews remember God's faithfulness, a devastating massacre has almost blotted out a memorial of light.
Australian public theologian Dr Craig Heilmann addresses the tragic murder of Jewish families at a Bondi beach Hanukkah celebration, sharing his observations of rising xenophobia - as well as religious violence - against Jews in pockets of society. He says it's a millennia-long struggle against oppression, and calls for more robust and genuine dialogue at the community level as well as in federal government.
