During Mental Health Awareness Week, Rhema Breakfast spoke with Renee White from Little People Big Emotions about managing big emotions in children. Renee shared her parenting journey, highlighting the importance of empathy and understanding developmental stages to help children express their feelings. She emphasised the need for parents to regulate their own emotions first to effectively support their children.

Renee also discussed signs of mental distress in children, such as frequent meltdowns, withdrawal, or physical symptoms like tummy aches. She encouraged parents to seek resources and support, directing them to her website for interactive tools to aid in emotional development.

Tune into Rhema Breakfast from 6:00am - 10:00am on the Rhema Media App.
